Al-JANA/ARCPA works with communities that face marginalization in Lebanon in building on their strengths, and documenting and disseminating their empowering experiences and cultural contributions. Stemming from its work in the arts, AL-JANA also produces learning and creative resources by and for children and youth.
Vision
Children and youth grounded in the learning of their community's historical and cultural experiences and engaged in critical reflection and self-expression, are thus able to become strong advocates of community issues and active agents in their community's development. They are thus able to build on their strengths, and to turn challenges into opportunities for creative problem solving, growth and learning.
