Lebanese University (LU) student, Ola Mo3ti, received the Best PhD Dissertation in Law award from the Francophone Supreme Court in France, according to a statement from the LU information bureau. Mo3ti, from Katermaya, Iqlim al Kharub in Shuf, graduated from LU Faculty of Law-French Section and moved to France to pursue her master’s and doctoral degrees at Rennes University, in partnership with the Lebanese University, where she received her honorary PhD degree in law, the statement said. To recall, Dr. Ali Ibrahim from LU supervised Mo3ti’s dissertation paper ‘Consumer protection in e-commerce’ in collaboration with Dr. Celia Zolynski from Sorbonne University in France, the statement added. “We should sustain our national university which competes with the most prestigious universities worldwide,” Mo3ti boasted.
