The Minister of Transportation and Public Works, Ghazi al-Aridi, launched the second forum of Arab female engineers at the UNESCO palace under the headline “The Arab female engineer in a decision making position,” with the participation of the committee of the Arab female engineers in Lebanon, Jordan, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Palestine, Kuwait, and Egypt.
Al-Aridi noted that there is no difference between a male and a female engineer since we are witnessing a progress of some pioneering Arab female engineers at many instances. He also hoped that, “this forum will be concluded with recommendations and decisions that will provide more incentives for more achievements.”
