Safadi Foundation, Kafa and Save the Children signed a Memorandum of Understanding aiming at building staff capacity in protecting children from gender based violence. This collaboration agreement was concluded as part of the framework of the programme entitled: “Health for All and developing advocacy skills on rights, sexual and reproductive health policies” which currently is being implemented by Kafa with funding from the European Union and in partnership with Save the Children.
Within the same vein, “Abaad” organized in collaboration with Oxfam GB and the Forum for Development, Culture and Dialogue a round table on 9 and 10 November to discuss strategies and mechanisms for ending violence against women. The round table was entitled: Religious men and their role in challenging violence women” and was joined by several religious men from various Arab countries.
