Other information: The workshop aims at training 20 women activists and leaders from civil society to enrich their theoretical knowledge and their practical skills in matters related to monitoring the electoral programs of candidates from a women right perspective in the context of fighting discrimination and violence against women.
By the end of the workshop participants will become familiar with:

• The Lebanese forma commitments to international conventions regarding the elimination of discrimination against women
• Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW)
• Realities and obstacles of Lebanese women especially those related to education, work, political participation, rural women, woman and justice.
• Present advocacy campaigns to eliminate violence and discrimination against women and other activities of feminist, women and right groups in Lebanon.
