The MENA BWN represents a unified voice for women committed to social progress through economic development. "Registered as its own entity in November 2010 in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the MENA BWN today is made up of ten businesswomen's organizations, representing almost 2,500 members, who are country “Hubs” in the Network and whose leaders share a vision for women's economic empowerment in the MENA region. The Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND) is a regional organization based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. AGFUND was established in 1980 upon the initiative of His Royal Highness, Prince Talal Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud with the support of leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries : United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, State of Qatar, Sultanate of Oman and the State of Kuwait.
