The third shadow report was founded on the first and the second report which were drafted by the Committee for the Follow-up on Women's issued, along with a group of non-governmental women organizations, in the years 1999-2004 respectively The report: - Stresses the progress that has taken place since 2004 up to 2007, in terms of the legal amendments adopted by the government or women and civil organizations. - Sums up the most significant issues that still need procedural interventions by the government, and which NGO's would like to discuss with the CEDAW committee. - Relied on the principle of participation among all parties (women civil organizations, human rights committees…) concerned with the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women.
