The 2015 job fair in Zghorta targets the youth

The Municipality of Zghorta-Ehden organized last week the 2015 job fair with the participation of more than 36 recruiting companies and private enterprises active in the domains of tourism, hospitalization and banking services. The aim of the event was to provide the local youth population with new job opportunities whether within Lebanon or abroad, particularly in the Arab Gulf countries. The event marked a strong presence of young men and women who met with companies on the lookout for their skills. Activities within the fair included the holding of two seminars: the first organised by Labora association focusing on employment in the public sector. The second seminar was run by “Qudoorat” against unemployment association which mainly focused on excellence in customer service. For his part, mayor, Shahwan Ghazal Moawwad, expressed his satisfaction with received positive feedback to the event, stating that the municipality has only exercised its responsibility in addressing this matter particularly during the presently precarious economic situation.
