The Collective for Research and Training on Development – Action organized a regional training entitled: “Marketing and Developing New products” within the framework of the Regional Empowerment of Women Project which is funded by CIDA and Oxfam-Quebec.
The workshop was held at the YWCA. It started on February 11th and went on for 4 days. It was attended by 35 participants from Lebanon (11 participants from CRTD.A, Rural Women Cooperatives and sister organisations), Tunisia (6 participants from Cawtar and sister organisations), Jordan (5 participants from Johud and 2 participants from Oxfam Quebec) and Palestine (7 participants from Asala).
The workshop focused on various aspects related to the development and marketing of new products and the skills required in the process. During the workshop, participants exchanged experiences and knowledge on their best practices in marketing and in building capacities for creating sustainable marketing initiatives in addition to contributing suggestions to strengthen the marketing of women’s product as well as creating new and marketable products.
