Namlieh || The Garden Show & Spring Festival || May 28th- June 1st 2013

The Namlieh Cooperative will be taking part in the annual Garden Show exhibition for the sixth consecutive year.  This tenth edition of the event will take place at the Beirut Hippodrome from the 28th of May and until the 1st of June and will be under the slogan of “Water, the Source of Life” .  Namlieh will be exhibiting its products in the food and handcrafts corner.  The traditional products are especially made by the rural women groups and cooperatives.  Namlieh will seek to highlight the ways of working of these rural women cooperatives and will introduce visitors to traditional products such as jams, pickles, dried herbs, spices and grains.  The Garden Show will spread over more than 2000 square meters this year with the participants of more than 250 exhibitors.
It is important to note that Namlieh’s activity is supported by the Regional Economic Empowerment of Women Project funded by Canadian International Development Agency and administered by Oxfam Quebec.
