In this talk, Alexandre provides a personal account of what it means to be a performative artist who works on gender, and the journey into its impact on the self, the LGB community, the media, and society at large. It takes the audience through a personal story ranging from gender-based violence to activism through art, by challenging, disturbing, and stimulating talk about gender norms, transphobia, and heteronormativity.
