The Lebanese Cultural and Social Association organized its sixth annual exhibition in North Lebanon to support women craft and art works. In her opening speech, the Secretary of the Association, Ro’ya Al Samad, said the exhibition was “held each year to provide women with the opportunity to benefit economically and morally, and at the same time preserve our traditions and heritage”. Sponsored by the Municipality of Tripoli, the “North Craft Fair” was held at Nawfal Palace Hall and displayed handicrafts and embroidered wear, in addition to different kinds of homemade sweets and the traditional mooneh prepared by women of the capital city of the North.
