Conference on investigating human trafficking crimes

Under the patronage of the director general of the Internal Security Forces (ISF), General Imad Uthman, the ISF General Directorate is organizing a conference today on the ‘principles of dealing with and investigating crimes of human trafficking and sexual assault and providing support to victims’. The event which is sponsored by the Embassy of the Netherlands in collaboration with ABAAD organization, will be held at the ISF Institute in Aramoun. An interactive package will be launched for training trainers on trafficking in persons and sexual assault crimes in Lebanon targeting ISF units. The event will also see the graduation of trainer officers in the field. (Al Akhbar, October 9, 2018)
