MoU in Kaslik to enhance agri-food sector

The Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) signed yesterday a five year memorandum of understanding with George N. Frem Foundation. The MoU aims for the exchange of skills, capacities and expertise between the two parties in the agri food sector in Lebanon and supporting the following: the development, coordination and implementation of projects; receiving students for the purpose of training or for completion of scientific research in response to the needs and expectations of all rural community groups in terms of living, humanitarian and environmental aspects; training and improvement of skills in the agri food industry and finally, sharing academic research and organizing related activities to the end of ensuring integrated and sustainable agricultural development.
