LOYAC Lebanon launched yesterday its personal and professional capacity development program 2017 at Sanayeh Park in Beirut in the presence of president of the National Media Council, Abdel Hadi Mahfuz. During the launch ceremony, Mahfuz underlined the role of LOYAC and similar programs that serve as platforms for the enhancement of youth skills, particularly in the creation of job opportunities. He stressed the need to stimulate and activate state-run institutions through disengaging them from confessional or political interferences, noting the significance of women representation at the decision making level in the legislative, executive and judicial branches of government. The latter, he said, should adopt the vision of the young generation and encourage their participation in decision making. For her part, Sally Hamud, LOYAC general manager, pointed out that the association’s present program seeks to inspire the youth through sustainable education, workshops and community volunteering projects, in addition to vocational training, which is also covered by the program. Hamud said cooperation does not only imply physical assistance in funds or in a large network of relations, but rather a truthful intention to cooperate and breathe a new life into the Arab World as such. “Our doors are open to all companies, institutions and youth without exception,” Hamud concluded.
