Regie net returns in 2014 amount to USD 550 million from the toil of 20,000 farmers

The Director General of the Lebanese Regie, Nassif Seklaoui, announced during the annual Regie benefit dinner organized last Friday the results of the Regie’s accounts for 2014.  He noted that the Regie received the harvest of some 20000 farmers during a period of one month.. He also noted that the new Regie factory will be completed in February coupled with a study of offers of collaboration for local production by three international companies. At the administrative level, Seklaoui noted that the problem of contractual labor was resolved and that the total value of sales is expected to reach USD 750 million while and net income 550 million USD.
