SWI-Dar Al Aytam craft exhibition in Ghobeiri

The vocational center, Moassasat Ahd al Mihaniah affiliated with the Social Welfare Institutions (Dar al Aytam al Islamiya) opened yesterday its annual exhibition ‘My Works’ at its premises in Ghobeiri. The event featured creations by people with mental disabilities who have completed training and vocational rehabilitation in preparation for their integration in society. The expo included a range of products, including, traditional and handmade jewelry, leather, embroidery, handicrafts, soaps, distilled herbs and homemade sweets among other crafts items. The Social Welfare Institution, to note, takes into consideration the diverse aptitudes and skills of its beneficiaries where they can express and display their professional abilities to become active and productive in their own communities.
