VAW: murder in Rashidieh Refugee Camp

The local media circulated yesterday the news of a young Syrian man N.Kh, 22, who shot dead his sister Maryam, 25, with a military weapon inside the Palestinian refugee camp of Rashidieh before fleeing to an unknown destination. The body of the victim was transferred to a hospital in Tyre and the security forces started investigation into the incident. According to Lebanon 24 portal, the first indicators of the murder are related to ‘honor killing’, noting that the woman has been unjustly killed because the accusations against her proved to be invalid.
